ATENEO wins Game 2 vs FEU in UAAP Season 74 Finals

The Ateneo Blue Eagles defeated the Far Eastern University Tamaraws, 82-69, in Game 2 of the 74th UAAP men’s basketball finals at the Araneta Coliseum. Nico Salva (19.5 ppg, 78% FG in the Finals) of ADMU is named UAAP 74 Finals MVP. The Ateneo de Manila University (ADMU) captured its fourth straight men’s basketball championship title after sweeping Far Eastern University (FEU) in the UAAP Season 74 Finals.The Ateneo Blue Eagles dominated the best-of-three series, posting a 82-69 victory over the FEU Tamaraws on Saturday, October 1, 2011, at the Araneta Coliseum, before thousands of spectators and millions watching on TV.The four-peat championship is a first for the Blue Eagles in the UAAP, who have won a total of 6 titles in the collegiate league. Game 2 of ATENEO vs FEU finally took place following an earlier cancellation due to Typhoon Pedring. It was supposedly staged last Tuesday, September 27.
