JR Royol win Pinoy MasterChef title

JR Royol from Benguet was named as the first ever Pinoy MasterChef during the show’s Live Cook-off held Saturday at the SM North Edsa Skydome. Royol won P1 Million pesos from Clara Oil, a kitchen showcase from Whirlpool, a Diploma Program for Professional Culinary Arts scholarship and the title of being the first ever Pinoy MasteChef. Carla Marcaida, the “Negosyanteng Kusinera of Bulacan“, was named as the second placer for her adobong tuna at kaning dilaw that gained an average score of 93.9 points from the judges. She brought home P500,000 as cash prize. Ivory Yat, the “Kusina Fashionista of Quezon City” garnered 93 points with her palabok finale and winning herself P300,000.
