Commission on Audit (COA) has released its list of top-10 highest paid government executives in 2011. According to GMA News, COA’s report covered salaries and allowance of officials of government-owned and controlled corporations and their subsidiaries.
COA also reviewed salaries and benefits of members of the Judiciary, Congress and Cabinet Secretaries and Undersecretaries, the report added.
Here’s the list of top 10 highest paid government executives in 2011:
Amando M. Tetangco Jr. (P10.579 million) – Bangko Sentral ng Pilipinas Governor
Edgardo F. Garcia (P9.835 million) – Development Bank of the Philippines chief operating officer
Benedicto Jose R. Arcinas Jr. (P8.97 million) – GSIS executive vice president
Henry Rhoel Aguda (P8.35 million) – GSIS senior vice-president Henry
Robert G. Vergara (P8.32 million) – GSIS president and general manager
Nora Saludares (P7.64 million) – GSIS vice-president
Luis F. Sison (P7.593 million) – Philippine National Construction Corporation president and chief executive officer
Benedicto Ernesto R. Bitonio Jr. (P7.588 million) – Development Bank of the Philippines executive vice-president
Juan de Zuñiga Jr. (P7.404 million) – Bangko Sentral ng Pilipinas deputy governor
Diwa C. Gunigundo (P6.977 million) – Bangko Sentral ng Pilipinas deputy governor
