Apple 3rd-generation tablet they didn’t call it the iPad 3 or the iPad HD, but just ‘the new iPad’.

Apple finally announced early March 8 (Philippine time) its 3rd-generation tablet. They didn’t call it the iPad 3 or the iPad HD, but just ‘the new iPad.’ The two biggest improvements on the new iPad is the higher-than-1080p screen resolution which they refer to as Retina Display and then the 4G-connectivity (LTE) that can do speeds of up to 73Mbps. The Retina Display used in the iPhone 4S will also be the same on the new iPad. This means twice the screen resolution at 2048×1536 pixels for full HD movies and high definition games. The design of the new iPad is almost identical to the previous iPad 2. In fact, the dimensions of the new iPad is actually thicker (9.4mm vs. 8.8mm) and heavier (1.46lbs vs. 1.33lbs) compared to the previous model. New 3rd-generation iPad:. 9.7? It’s practically the same camera as the one used in the iPhone 4S. Pricing of the new iPad will be the same with $499 for the entry-level 16GB WiFi-only variant, $599 for the 32GB and $699 for the 64GB. International release of the new iPad will start on March 16 with Hong Kong and Singapore included in the initial list. Unfortunately, release date for the Philippines was not stated.
