A stunt is an unusual and difficult physical feat or an act requiring a special skill, performed for artistic purposes usually on television, theater, or cinema. Stunts are a feature of many action films from old up to the present. It’s been said that it evolved from time to time. So far, it amazes us and sometimes it’s not.
Stunts performed by a crazy guy featured on the video leave you in shock when you see the heights he’ll dangle from. A quick gust of wind or a slight wobble would spell the end of this daredevil life. This is the stomach-churning moment a Russian free-climber swung from the roof of a 40-storey building with nothing more than a friend’s arm to cling on to.
Taken in the central city of Yekaterinburg, the shocking clip shows the young man dangling over the edge of the skyscraper with his life quite literally hanging in his friend’s hands. At one point in the breath-taking footage, can be seen running from side to side, using the building’s facade for traction in a fast pace. Watch him from the video below.
The man who performed the said crazy stunt goes by the ‘Pseudonymous OlegCricket from Russia who calls his death-defying hobby ‘rooftopping’. Those terrifying stunts he got have seen him build a 100,000-person strong Instagram following, where users regularly post messages of support.
‘Pseudonymous OlegCricket’ can be seen hanging from his friend’s arm, swinging back and forth with nothing to catch him if he falls from those dangerous height of a building where he stood to perform that dangerous stunt of him. He also added that he had complete faith in his friend Ilya Bagaev not to drop him.
‘I was not thinking about fear or any other emotions – there was no time. Most people react – and will react – negatively, but they don’t understand the other side of my thinking,’ he said.
He also added that ‘they are taught that it’s scary and something people are accustomed to, but it’s a different philosophy to know what I’m doing.’
Climbing a top of high building in Russia, this daredevil scaled a skinny steel beam and maintained a handstand for a solid 15 seconds before carefully dismounting. His death-defying stunts have left many viewers questioning whether such stunts are even possible or just an illusion from a creative mind.
